Information - Heron Lake

Heron lake not to compare with its neighbour Fox lake is the bigger of the two. With its irregular shape ,depths and it also has an island.
The records in weight or in amount of catches during an angling season are beaten from year to year and are not countable anymore.
Following strict fishery management like on Fox lake, the smallest carp are retrieved and replaced by bigger carp caught in our numerous external lakes each year.
We noticed that the lake has matured but on a slower speed than its neighbour.
With the abundant natural food the carp have grown extremely big and very quickly.
Last year anglers have reported to us some massive carp, some unknown.
We can announce that Heron lake is now a specimen water but with the advantage that action is still prolific.
Heron lake has a cracking amount of gorgeous and massive carp but it's not a turn up and catch them water. They do show themselves around the lake so be observant and watch for signs. Once your on them, then they are catchable.
If we can give you an advice, prepare you mentally for this combat, again with Fox , choose your baits wisely, don't over do the baiting from the start. Remember you can't take it out after you've put it in. Prepare your secret formula, look for as much precious info as possible from the bailiff and anglers that have been before. Be prepared to get up to the challenge of your life.. they are there...and are waiting for you..
